
Motochika CHOSOKABE
Motochika CHOSOKABE was a Japanese samurai who lived during the Sengoku period. He was a daimyo of the Chosokabe clan and was known for his military prowess and his pirate raids. He was also a skilled swordsman and was said to have fought with a giant axe.
CHOSOKABE was born in 1539 in Tosa Province. He was the son of Yoshitaka CHOSOKABE, the daimyo of the Chosokabe clan. CHOSOKABE grew up in a time of great political turmoil and warfare. The Sengoku period was a time of constant conflict between rival daimyo clans. CHOSOKABE's father was killed in battle in 1555, and CHOSOKABE succeeded him as daimyo of the Chosokabe clan.
CHOSOKABE was a skilled military leader and he quickly expanded the power of the Chosokabe clan. He conquered several neighboring provinces and became one of the most powerful daimyo in Japan. CHOSOKABE was also a skilled pirate and he led several successful raids on the Chinese coast.
