Morikawa is a tall, slender woman with long black hair and brown eyes. She is a member of the Houseki-jin, a race of immortal, genderless beings who live on a small planetoid. Morikawa is a skilled warrior and is often tasked with protecting the other Houseki-jin from danger. She is also a kind and compassionate person who cares deeply for her friends. One day, Morikawa meets a human named Phosphophyllite. Phosphophyllite is a young, naive girl who is new to the world of the Houseki-jin. Morikawa takes Phosphophyllite under her wing and teaches her about the ways of the Houseki-jin. The two of them quickly become close friends, and Morikawa becomes a surrogate mother figure to Phosphophyllite.
