Moiraine Damonded was born in the city of Tar Valon, the capital of the Aes Sedai. She was raised in a family of Aes Sedai, where she learned the ways of the One Power from a young age. Moiraine was always fascinated by the power of the Aes Sedai and dreamed of becoming one herself.
