Mitsuha MIYAMIZU

Mitsuha Miyamizu is a high school student who lives in a small town in rural Japan. She is a shrine maiden and has black hair. She is also a fan of the band RADWIMPS and their song "Sparkle". One day, Mitsuha wakes up in the body of a boy named Taki Tachibana. Taki lives in Tokyo and is a high school student who is interested in art. Mitsuha and Taki try to figure out how they switched bodies and how to switch back. They communicate through notes and text messages, and they start to develop feelings for each other. Mitsuha and Taki eventually find a way to switch back, but they are both sad to say goodbye. They promise to meet again someday.
