Mashiro SHIINA
Mashiro Shiina is a high school student who is also a mangaka. She has a photographic memory and is very stoic, but she is also an airhead and a bit of a klutz. She is a transfer student to Sakurasou, a dorm for students who are considered to be "problem children."
Mashiro is very talented at drawing manga, but she is also very shy and has trouble interacting with other people. She is often misunderstood by others, who think that she is stuck-up or arrogant. However, she is actually very kind and caring, and she just wants to be accepted for who she is.
Mashiro's classmates at Sakurasou are a diverse group of people, and they all help her to learn how to interact with others. She eventually makes friends with them, and she begins to open up more. She also starts to develop her own style of manga, which is unique and creative.
