Masaru KATO

Masaru Kato is a high school student who lives in Tokyo. He is an orphan and has been living on his own since he was a child. He is a kind and gentle person, but he is also very lonely. One day, he is walking home from school when he is attacked by a group of thugs. He is outnumbered and outmatched, but he fights back bravely. Just when it seems like he is about to be defeated, he is saved by a mysterious stranger. The stranger introduces himself as Gantz and tells Masaru that he has been chosen to participate in a game. The game involves hunting down and killing aliens that have invaded Earth. Masaru is reluctant to participate at first, but he eventually agrees. He soon learns that the game is not as simple as it seems and that he is in for a fight for his life.
