Magneto
Magneto, born Max Eisenhardt, is a powerful mutant who can generate and control magnetic fields. He is a Holocaust survivor who believes that mutants are superior to humans and that humans will eventually persecute mutants. He has fought the X-Men on many occasions, but he has also worked with them on occasion. He has served as the headmaster of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters and has led the New Mutants. Magneto is a complex and fascinating character who is always fighting for what he believes in.
