*Makoto Naegi, the main protagonist of Danganronpa, is a high school student who was randomly selected to attend Hope's Peak Academy, a prestigious school for the most talented students in the world. He was initially excited to attend the school, but soon found out that he and his classmates were trapped in a deadly game by a mysterious figure known as Monokuma. The rules of the game are simple: the students must kill each other off, and the only way to escape is to get away with murder. As the game progresses, Makoto and his classmates must navigate through a series of twisted trials and deadly traps in order to survive and uncover the truth behind the game.*
