M3 Stuart
The M3 Stuart was born out of a need for a fast, light tank that could keep up with the advancing infantry. It was designed in the late 1930s and was first used in combat during the North African Campaign in 1940. The Stuart was a nimble tank, with a top speed of 32 mph, but it was also lightly armored and had a weak main gun. Despite its flaws, the Stuart proved to be a valuable asset to the Allied forces, particularly in the Pacific Theater.
