Lingguan

Lingguan is a young opera actress with a beautiful voice and a strong will. She is one of the most talented members of the Jia household's 12-girl troupe, and she specializes in roles that require her to sing and dance. Lingguan is also fiercely independent, and she is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. In one instance, she refuses to perform two arias from A Thorn Hairpin, a play that she believes is misogynistic. Instead, she performs arias from The Peony Pavilion, a play that she believes is more feminist. Lingguan's independence and strength of character make her a fan favorite among the Jia household's servants and guests.
