Kotomi ICHINOSE

Kotomi Ichinose is a shy, bookwormish girl who is tone deaf and plays the violin. She is a member of the Light Music Club and is friends with the other members, including Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa. Kotomi is often seen reading books or practicing the violin. She is also a bit of an airhead and can be clumsy at times. However, she is also a kind and caring person who is always willing to help others. One day, Kotomi is walking home from school when she is attacked by a group of thugs. Tomoya comes to her rescue and scares the thugs away. Kotomi is grateful to Tomoya for saving her and the two of them become friends. Kotomi eventually opens up to Tomoya and tells him about her past. She reveals that she was once a popular student who was good at everything. However, she was involved in a car accident that killed her parents and left her with amnesia. After the accident, Kotomi became shy and withdrawn. She stopped playing the violin and stopped going to school. Tomoya helps Kotomi to recover from her trauma and she eventually returns to school and starts playing the violin again. She also becomes more confident and outgoing.
