The story begins with a young boy named Ikta who is training to become a military officer. He is not very good at it, but he is determined to succeed. One day, he is assigned to a unit that is tasked with investigating a strange phenomenon. The phenomenon turns out to be a magical familiar, which is a creature that can grant the user special powers. Ikta and his unit must work together to figure out how to use the familiar and defeat the enemy.
