Katsuhira Agata is a high school student who has no sense of pain. He was the first person to be chosen to be a Kiznaiver, a device that links people together and shares their pain. This makes him a target for bullies, who take advantage of his inability to feel pain. However, he also finds that he is able to connect with others in a way that he never could before.
