Karl FRITZ

Karl Fritz was the 145th King of Eldia and the founder of the Walls. He was a pacifist who believed that the only way to end the cycle of violence between Eldia and Marley was to seal the power of the Titans within the Walls. To do this, he used the Founding Titan to create the Walls and the Eldian people's inability to reproduce. He then sent his daughters, Maria, Rose, and Sina, to live outside the Walls and to act as the Founding Titan's successors. Fritz's actions were ultimately unsuccessful, as the cycle of violence continued between Eldia and Marley. However, his decision to seal the power of the Titans within the Walls did buy Eldia some time, as Marley was unable to access the power of the Titans for over a century.
