Kaoru Matsubara is a high school student who is also an athlete. She is a tomboy with purple hair and is a fan of the anime Powerpuff Girls Z. One day, she is walking home from school when she is attacked by a monster. She is saved by a magical girl named Blossom, who gives her a magical brooch that transforms her into a magical girl herself. Kaoru now uses her powers to fight crime and protect the innocent.
