Kaite Trevisick is a young child who lives in the world of Trigun. She has black hair and wears bandages around her eyes. She is a very curious and adventurous child, and she is always getting into trouble. One day, she meets Vash the Stampede, a legendary outlaw who is wanted for a large bounty. Kaite is immediately drawn to Vash, and she decides to follow him on his journey. Along the way, Kaite learns a lot about the world and about herself. She also learns about the importance of friendship and courage.
