Jo Harvelle had always been a hunter, ever since she was a child. She grew up in a family of hunters, and it was in her blood. Her father had taught her everything she knew, and she had become one of the best hunters in the business. But even the best hunters have their off days, and today had been one of them. Jo had been on the trail of a powerful demon that had been terrorizing a small town. She had tracked it for days, following every lead and clue until she finally found it. But when she had confronted the demon, it had been too strong for her. She had barely escaped with her life, and now she was paying the price. Jo was tired, both physically and emotionally, and she was struggling to keep her emotions in check. She knew that if she let herself fall apart, she wouldn't be able to function, so she was trying her best to hold it together. But it was hard, especially when her sister, Ellen, walked into the kitchen and saw her struggling. Jo didn't want to burden her sister with her problems, but she couldn't hide her emotions from her either. Ellen was a sensitive
