Jing Ke
Jing Ke was a man on a mission. He was a youxia, a type of Chinese assassin, and he was determined to kill King Zheng of Qin, the most powerful man in the world.
Jing Ke had a plan. He would disguise himself as a court musician and infiltrate the palace. Once he was close to King Zheng, he would draw his sword and strike him down.
But the plan didn't go as planned. King Zheng was suspicious of Jing Ke and had him searched. The assassins' dagger was found, and Jing Ke was arrested.
Jing Ke was brought before King Zheng. He was given one last chance to save his life. He could either commit suicide or be executed.
Jing Ke chose to commit suicide. He drew his dagger and stabbed himself in the stomach. He died a hero, but his death did not end the Qin dynasty. King Zheng went on to become China's first emperor.
Jing Ke's story is a reminder that even the most powerful men can be defeated by those who are willing to fight for what they believe in.
