Jigo
Jigo is a monk who is searching for the Sacred Forest Spirit in order to sell its head to the Emperor. He is a greedy and unscrupulous man, but he is also intelligent and resourceful. He is accompanied by his young apprentice, Ashitaka, who is on a quest to find a cure for the curse that was placed on him by the Boar God Nago. Jigo and Ashitaka eventually find the Sacred Forest Spirit, but they are unable to capture it. The Spirit escapes, and Jigo is left with nothing but his greed.
