Ji Yong KANG

Ji Yong KANG is a teacher at a prestigious high school in South Korea. He is known for being strict and demanding, but also fair and compassionate. He is also a bit of a nerd, and loves anime and manga. His students often call him "Mokbegae," which means "teacher's pet." One day, Ji Yong KANG is walking home from school when he sees a group of students picking on a smaller student. He immediately intervenes, and the bullies run away. The smaller student thanks Ji Yong KANG for helping him, and Ji Yong KANG asks him his name. The student's name is Park Min-woo, and he is a new student at the school. Ji Yong KANG offers to walk Park Min-woo home, and they start talking. Ji Yong KANG learns that Park Min-woo is a big fan of anime, and they start talking about their favorite anime shows. Ji Yong KANG also learns that Park Min-woo is a very talented artist, and he encourages Park Min-woo to pursue his dream of becoming a manga artist. Ji Yong KANG and Park Min-woo become friends, and Ji Yong KANG becomes a mentor to Park Min-woo.
