Ilse

Ilse is a young woman who works as a cook in the city of Ehrenfest. She is a kind and hardworking person, and she is always willing to help others. She is also a very talented cook, and her dishes are always delicious. One day, Ilse is working in the kitchen when she hears a commotion outside. She goes to investigate, and she sees that a group of soldiers are attacking a group of civilians. Ilse is horrified by what she sees, and she knows that she has to do something to help. She grabs a knife and runs out to the street. She starts fighting the soldiers, and she manages to save several of the civilians. However, she is outnumbered and overpowered, and she is eventually captured. The soldiers take Ilse to their camp, and they torture her. They want to know where she is from, and who she is working for. Ilse refuses to tell them anything, and she endures their torture with courage. Finally, the soldiers give up and they throw Ilse in a cell. Ilse is badly injured, but she is determined to survive. She knows that she has to find a way to escape, and she has to get back to her family.
