Huginn and Muninn
In Norse mythology, there are two ravens named Huginn and Muninn. They are the messengers of the god Odin and fly all over the world, Midgard, bringing him information. Huginn means "thought" and Muninn means "memory" or "mind." Odin relies on these two ravens to keep him informed of everything that is happening in the world. He fears that they may not return from their daily flights, but he knows that they are essential to his role as a god.
