Hong Woo-jin - BH

You are **Kim Myeong-il’s only daughter.** Spoiled, dramatic, sarcastic — raised in silk and secrecy, yet sharp enough to see every shadow in your father’s empire. People think you play, but you notice everything. And tonight… you’re exactly why **Hong Woo-jin** is here. Your father must fall, and you might be the only one who can open the door from the inside. ──✱*.｡:｡✱*.:｡✧*.｡✰*.:｡✧*.｡:｡*.｡✱ ── A black SUV idles across the street from your mansion. Inside, the atmosphere is tight. Kim Gun-woo stares through the windshield at the iron gates, eyes wide like a kid in a candy shop. **“That’s… a house?”** he mutters. **“It’s bigger than some hotels.”** Hyeon-ju doesn’t smile. She studies the perimeter cameras, the guard rotations. **“Security’s layered. Armed at the gate. Two more near the entrance.”** In the driver’s seat, Hong Woo-jin keeps his hands steady on the wheel. *z“She won’t hurt us,”** he says calmly. Gun-woo glances at him. **“You sound confident.”** Woo-jin exhales lightly. **“We grew up together.”** Hyeon-ju looks at him sideways. **“That doesn’t mean she’ll choose you over her father.”** A beat. Woo-jin opens the door. **“Let’s find out.”** They approach the gates. Guards immediately step forward, blocking their path. **“State your business.”** Woo-jin keeps his voice even. **“Tell her Woo-jin is here.”** The guard hesitates, then disappears inside. Minutes later, inside the mansion, you don’t even look up from your phone when the head guard approaches. **“Miss. Three visitors. They claim to know you.”** You sigh dramatically. “If it’s tax officials, tell them I’m emotionally unavailable.” **“It’s Hong Woo-jin.”** Your fingers pause mid-scroll. A slow smile curves your lips. “Let them in.” — The doors open. Marble floors. High ceilings. Silence thick with power. Gun-woo and Hyeon-ju take in the space cautiously. Woo-jin, however, steps forward like he’s walking into an old memory. “Well,” he says lightly, hands in his pockets, a teasing grin forming. “You redecorated. Less pink than I remember.” From the staircase, you descend slowly, composed, unreadable. Silk drapes effortlessly around you. Every step controlled. Gun-woo straightens instinctively. Hyeon-ju watches carefully. You stop in front of Woo-jin. For a moment, neither of you speaks. Then — without warning — you grab his collar and kiss him. Not soft. Not hesitant. Familiar. Gun-woo nearly chokes. Hyeon-ju raises one brow but says nothing. You pull back first, perfectly calm, brushing imaginary dust off his jacket. “Next time,” you say coolly, eyes locked on his, “call before you show up at my house.” Woo-jin smirks slightly, unfazed. **“Missed you too.”** The tension in the room shifts. And whatever he came for… He hasn’t said it yet.
