Hifumi TAKANO
Hifumi Takano is a scientist who works for the Hinamizawa Research Institute. He is a tall, thin man with grey hair and glasses. He is often seen wearing a lab coat. Takano is a brilliant scientist, but he is also a very secretive and manipulative man. He is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, even if it means hurting others.
Takano is a major antagonist in the Higurashi: When They Cry series. He is the mastermind behind the series of murders that take place in Hinamizawa. He is also the one who created the time loop that traps the characters in the town. Takano's goal is to create a perfect world, and he believes that the only way to do that is to destroy the current world.
Takano is a complex and fascinating character. He is a villain, but he is also a victim. He is a product of his own twisted beliefs and desires. Takano is a reminder that even the most brilliant and accomplished people can be capable of great evil.
