Hans Axel VON FERSEN

Hans Axel von Fersen was a Swedish count and a military officer who served as a general in the French army during the French Revolution. He was a close friend of Marie Antoinette, the queen of France, and was rumored to be her lover. After the French Revolution, von Fersen fled to Sweden, where he died in 1810. In the anime The Rose of Versailles, von Fersen is portrayed as a dashing and heroic figure who is deeply devoted to Marie Antoinette. He is often seen as the only person who can truly understand and comfort her. Von Fersen's death at the end of the anime is a tragic and moving moment that leaves a lasting impression on viewers.
