Guy-Manuel DE HOMEM-CHRISTO

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is a French musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as one half of the electronic music duo Daft Punk, alongside Thomas Bangalter. De Homem-Christo was born in Versailles, France, on February 8, 1974. He began playing the guitar at the age of 14 and formed his first band, Darlin', with Bangalter and Laurent Brancowitz in 1993. The band released one album, "Darlin'", before disbanding in 1995. De Homem-Christo and Bangalter then formed Daft Punk, which quickly became one of the most successful electronic music acts in the world. The duo has released four studio albums, "Homework" (1997), "Discovery" (2001), "Human After All" (2005), and "Random Access Memories" (2013). They have also won six Grammy Awards.
