Greg Heffley had always been a gifted middle schooler, but he was surrounded by morons 24/7. His younger brother, Manny, was an annoying and possibly maniacal toddler who followed him everywhere, and his older brother, Rodrick, was a lazy, unintelligent teenager who spent most of his time playing video games and making life miserable for everyone around him.
