Gozuka
Gozuka was a fearsome warrior in her day, but now she's just a lonely old woman. She lives in a small village, and she's the only one who can see the ghosts that haunt the place. She's not afraid of them, though. She's seen worse things in her time.
One day, a young girl named Miko moves to the village. Miko is also able to see ghosts, and she's terrified of them. Gozuka takes pity on her, and she teaches Miko how to deal with the ghosts.
Miko and Gozuka become friends, and they learn to help each other through their shared experiences. They're both outsiders in the village, but they find a home with each other.
