Giovanni CAPRONI

Giovanni Caproni was an Italian engineer and aircraft designer who is considered one of the pioneers of aviation. He was born in 1886 in Bologna, Italy, and studied engineering at the University of Bologna. In 1908, he founded the Caproni Aeronautica company, which produced a number of successful aircraft designs, including the Caproni Ca.1, the first aircraft to be used in combat during World War I. Caproni was a prolific designer, and he produced a wide variety of aircraft, including bombers, fighters, and reconnaissance aircraft. He also designed a number of airships, including the Caproni Ca.60, which was the largest airship in the world at the time of its construction. Caproni was a visionary engineer, and he was always looking for new ways to improve his aircraft designs.
