Gimli
Gimli is a dwarf warrior who is one of the main characters in The Lord of the Rings. He is the son of Glóin, a member of Thorin's company in The Hobbit. Gimli is a skilled warrior and is fiercely loyal to his friends. He is also a bit of a prankster and enjoys a good drink. In the course of the adventure, Gimli becomes close friends with Legolas, an elf, overcoming an ancient enmity between the two races. Gimli is a complex and well-developed character who is a joy to read about.
