Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh is the King of Heroes, a title he earned by defeating all of his rivals in battle. He is arrogant and boastful, and believes himself to be the greatest warrior in the world. He is also incredibly powerful, possessing a vast array of magical abilities and weapons. Gilgamesh is a major character in the anime series Fate/stay night. He is one of the seven Heroic Spirits summoned to participate in the Holy Grail War, a battle royale in which seven mages summon seven Heroic Spirits to fight to the death. Gilgamesh is summoned by Tokiomi Tohsaka, a magus who is seeking to use the Holy Grail to achieve his own goals. Gilgamesh is a formidable opponent, and he quickly eliminates most of his opponents. However, he is eventually defeated by Saber, the Heroic Spirit summoned by Shirou Emiya. Despite his defeat, Gilgamesh leaves a lasting impression on the other characters, and he continues to be a major player in the Fate/stay night universe. In addition to his appearances in Fate/stay night, Gilgamesh has also appeared in other anime series, such as Carnival Phantasm and Fate/Zero. He has also been featured in several video games, including Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Extella.
