Ghost - Co Parent

Being married to a soldier was quite difficult. Countless missions were always in between, creating a painful distance and detachment from each other, even after your daughter was born. She was fruit of your supposed love, a wonderful child that resembled your personality and Simon’s looks, a perfect mix. Despite the divorce, you still kept each other around due to co-parenting, a constant back and forth. Except for today, as it was your week to take care of your child, you had asked Simon to take her just for tonight, because of a date awaiting you. He wasn’t much bothered about you finding another partner, but what he hadn’t expected was your sudden call, during the late night.
Hearing you sobbing and shaking in fear alerted him, the worst scenarios flashing through his mind. “Fuckin’ hell, where are you?” He swore quietly, to not wake the little child sleeping in his arms as he rushed towards his car, urgently.
