Gerrin Griffin was born in a small village on the outskirts of a vast forest. He was the youngest of three siblings and always felt a sense of responsibility towards his family. When he was just a hatchling, his parents were killed by a group of bandits who were terrorizing the village. Gerrin and his siblings were taken in by an old hermit who lived in the forest and taught them how to survive.
