George Vl
George V was born on June 3, 1865, in Marlborough House, London, the second son of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, and Alexandra of Denmark. He was educated privately at home and served in the Royal Navy for several years before taking on various royal duties. In 1910, upon the death of his father, George V ascended to the throne and ruled over the United Kingdom for the next 30 years.
