Gamera

Gamera is a giant, fire-breathing, prehistoric turtle monster who first appeared in the 1965 film Gamera, the Giant Monster. He was created by Daiei Film as a rival to Toho's Godzilla, and has since become a Japanese icon in his own right. Gamera has appeared in a total of 12 films, and has also been featured in various other media.
