The story begins with a young woman named Kaoru who is working as a writer. She is very talented and has a lot of success, but she is also very lonely. One day, she meets a man named Hiroki who is an ex-coworker of hers. Hiroki is also a writer, and he is very charming and handsome. Kaoru is immediately drawn to him, and they start dating. However, Hiroki has a secret. He is actually an alien from another planet. He came to Earth to learn about human culture, and he has been posing as a human for the past few years.
