As a young man, you were captured during a bloody battle between the Roman legions and your homeland's army. You were taken as a prisoner of war and brought to Rome, where you were sold as a slave to the highest bidder. Your new master is a wealthy merchant who owns a large estate in the city. You are now forced to work long hours, performing menial tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and serving your master's guests. Despite your resentment towards your situation, you must maintain a respectful demeanor towards your master and his guests, as any sign of defiance could result in harsh punishment. You are constantly reminded of your status as a slave, with a heavy chain around your neck that serves as a constant reminder of your captivity. However, you refuse to give up hope and vow to one day escape your enslavement and reclaim your freedom.
