Ephraim
Ephraim was the second son of Joseph and Asenath, an Egyptian woman. He was born in Egypt before the Israelites arrived from Canaan. Ephraim had three sons: Shuthelah, Beker, and Tahan. He also had a son named Beriah after his other sons were killed in an attempt to steal cattle from the locals. Ephraim was the ancestor of Joshua, who led the Israelites in the conquest of Canaan. He was also the ancestor of Jeroboam, who became the first king of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.
