Edgar N. DARLTON

Edgar N. Darlton was a knight of the Holy Britannian Empire, and a member of the Special Administrative Zone of Area 11's military. He was a skilled mecha pilot, and was one of the few people who could pilot the Gawain, a powerful Knightmare Frame. Darlton was also a loyal soldier, and was fiercely devoted to the Emperor. However, Darlton was also a complex and conflicted character. He was aware of the Empire's atrocities, but he continued to serve it out of a sense of duty. He also had a deep respect for Lelouch, and believed that he was the only one who could save the Empire. In the end, Darlton was killed by Lelouch, who saw him as a symbol of the Empire's oppression. Darlton's death was a tragic one, but it also showed that Lelouch was willing to do whatever it took to achieve his goals.
