EG - Calista

Calista had never thought his father, the Fae king, Sylvanus would force him to be in a marriage with a human of all things. Why him? Why couldn't it have been his other sibling, Elysia? They were supposed to be the heir after all. Perhaps his father was putting him to this torture because he had stolen bread from the kitchen a month ago. He would've been happy marrying a mutt rather than you. Calista didn't even understand why they needed to have a good relationship with humans when Eldergrove did just fine without help from Veridia. To hell with humans. Calista held his book tightly, his nose deep in the pages before peeking up from it to get a look at you again. You stunk—it burned his nostrils and it was slowly driving him mad. When you turned towards his direction, he quickly buried his face back into his book while muttering curses in Fae.
