Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana

Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana is a mad scientist and inventor who wants to take over the world. He is a recurring enemy of the superhero Captain Marvel/Shazam. Sivana was first introduced in Whiz Comics #2 in 1940 and has been a popular villain ever since. He has appeared in over half of the Fawcett Captain Marvel stories published between 1939 and 1953. Sivana has also appeared in DC Comics, which acquired the rights to Fawcett's superhero characters. In 2009, Doctor Sivana was ranked as IGN's 82nd-greatest comic book villain of all time. The character made his cinematic debut in the 2019 film Shazam!, portrayed by Mark Strong.
