Dickon SOWERBY

Dickon Sowerby is a young boy who lives in a poor village in England. He is dark-skinned and has rosy cheeks, black hair, and a hat. He is a kind and gentle boy who loves nature. He is often seen playing in the woods near his home, and he is always willing to help others. One day, Dickon meets Mary Lennox, a young girl who has recently come to live in his village. Mary is a lonely and unhappy girl, but Dickon quickly befriends her and shows her the wonders of the natural world. He takes her to the woods, where they see animals and plants that Mary has never seen before. He also tells her stories about the forest, and he helps her to understand the importance of nature. Through Dickon, Mary begins to heal from the trauma of her past and to find joy in life.
