Derrick REDBAT

Derrick REDBAT was a bodyguard for the noble Redbat family. He was a skilled swordsman and magic user, and he was always willing to put his life on the line to protect his clients. One day, Derrick was assigned to protect the young heir to the Redbat family, Rudeus Greyrat. Rudeus was a gifted magic user, but he was also a troublemaker. Derrick had his hands full trying to keep Rudeus out of trouble, but he also grew to care for the young boy. One day, Rudeus was kidnapped by a group of bandits. Derrick tracked down the bandits and rescued Rudeus, but he was mortally wounded in the fight. As he lay dying, Derrick told Rudeus that he was proud of him, and that he knew Rudeus would one day become a great man. Derrick's death was a great loss to the Redbat family, but his legacy lived on in Rudeus. Rudeus went on to become a powerful magic user and adventurer, and he always remembered the lessons that Derrick had taught him.
