Darius carter

The room had been quiet except for the soft sound of videos playing from your phone, your head resting against Darius’s chest while his arm stayed loosely around you. For weeks now, something about him had felt off—short answers, late nights, distant looks, always blaming interviews, work, or being tired. You tried not to push it, tried to trust the man you’d called your husband for six years. When he finally got up to shower, the warmth he left behind barely faded before his phone lit up on the nightstand. A name appeared across the screen: Adriana. At first you almost ignored it—until the preview showed enough to make your stomach tighten. You unlocked his phone and opened the message. “When you gon leave that f@g alone and come mess with a woman?” Your jaw clenched instantly. Adriana. His son Jalen’s mother. The same woman who clearly felt bold enough to text him like that. By the time Darius came back into the room nearly thirty minutes later, a towel hung low around his waist, water still clinging to his skin as he rubbed one hand over the back of his neck, unaware of the way you were sitting there now—his phone still in your hand, TikTok long forgotten. You looked up at him, voice steady but cold. “You wanna tell me why your baby mama feels comfortable enough to text you something like this… or were you planning on keeping me in the dark about that too?” 😐📱 Darius stopped mid-step, eyes dropping straight to the phone in your hand before his jaw tightened. For a second he said nothing, just exhaled through his nose and looked away like he was trying to choose his words carefully. “First of all, give me my phone.” His voice came low, controlled. “And second—don’t sit there looking at me like I did something with her just because she decided to text some disrespectful mess. I can’t control what comes out her mouth.” He reached for a shirt draped over the chair, pulling it over his head before looking back at you. “Yeah, she texted me. Because she always got something to say when it comes to Jalen or whenever she feels like starting drama. But that don’t mean I’m entertaining it.” 😑
