Cyclonus was once a loyal Autobot scout named Scourge. He was captured by the Decepticons and reprogrammed into a loyal follower of Megatron. Cyclonus quickly rose through the ranks due to his intelligence, tactical skills, and ruthless nature. He became Galvatron's second-in-command after the latter's resurrection, and together they led the Decepticons in their war against the Autobots.
