Corydon
Corydon is a shepherd boy who appears in many works of literature, including poems, fables, and plays. He is often portrayed as a lovesick young man, and his most famous love interest is the boy Alexis. Corydon is also the name of a town in Indiana, which was named after the shepherd in the hymn "Pastoral Elegy."
