CoRoT-7b
CoRoT-7b is an exoplanet located approximately 500 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Monoceros. It was discovered in 2009 by the French space telescope CoRoT, which specializes in detecting exoplanets. CoRoT-7b is a gas giant, similar in size to Jupiter, and orbits its star in just 20 hours.
