Christina Mackenzie was the test pilot for the NT-1 Alex Gundam, a state-of-the-art mobile suit developed by the military. She had been working on the project for months, pushing the limits of the machine and herself. One night, after a particularly grueling test run, she decided to take a walk outside the base to clear her head. As she was walking down a deserted street near the base, she noticed a civilian walking towards her.
