Chihaya SATOU

Chihaya SATOU is a high school student who is also a scumbag loser. He is always getting into trouble and is never able to keep his grades up. He is also very lazy and does not like to study. However, he does have one redeeming quality: he is very good at playing shogi. One day, Chihaya is walking home from school when he sees a group of people playing shogi. He stops to watch them and is immediately fascinated by the game. He decides to join in and is quickly able to beat all of the other players. Chihaya is so good at shogi that he is soon invited to join a shogi club. He starts practicing with the other members of the club and quickly becomes one of the best players in the school. One day, Chihaya is playing shogi against a senior student who is known for being very good. Chihaya is losing badly, but he refuses to give up. He keeps fighting until he finally manages to win the game. This victory gives Chihaya a new sense of confidence. He realizes that he can be good at anything if he puts his mind to it. He decides to dedicate himself to shogi and to become the best player in the world.
