Chang'e
Chang'e, also known as Heng'e, is the Chinese goddess of the Moon. She was married to Houyi, a legendary archer who shot down nine suns. One day, Houyi obtained an elixir of life from the Queen Mother of the West. Chang'e was curious about the elixir, so she drank it and flew to the Moon.
Houyi was heartbroken when he found out that Chang'e had left him. He searched for her on the Moon, but he could not find her. He eventually gave up and returned to Earth.
Chang'e lived on the Moon for many years. She became a kind and benevolent goddess, and she used her powers to help the people of Earth. She is still revered by many Chinese people today.
